Class Size
Maximum 7 in the 9am classes which are live streamed, and yin yoga. All other classes max at 9.
Gentle Hatha yoga classes are offered in the Stirling studio on Monday, Tuesday (with Colleen Thompson), Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. All classes are appropriate for those interested in a gentle approach to yoga….. We teach a fairly slow, meditative style, with strong focus on personal attention to the wisdom of your own body. All poses are taught with verbal cues and awareness of breath, with the breath informing the movement of the body at all times. Morning classes are geared to older adults, or anyone interested in this mindful style of yoga. We tend not to instruct poses that may not be easily accessible (Pigeon, Shoulder stand etc.). Challenging poses are taught on an individual basis only. Any class may contain elements of yin, restorative, yoga nidra, meditation and pranayama. All classes start on time. Please make sure to arrive a bit early and allow yourself time to settle in. Classes are offered by session only. Drop-ins where indicated or by request, $20
