Classes

Adult classes are offered in my Stirling studio Monday and Wednesday evenings. Older adult classes are offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Morning classes differ from the evening classes only in that I do not instruct full Sun Salutations or poses that may not be easily accessible to older adults, (Pigeon, Shoulderstand etc.) Challenging poses are taught on an individual basis only.

Gentle hatha yoga is appropriate for all ages, but the evening class is somewhat more vigorous, while the morning class tends to be a little slower and gentler. Any class may contain elements of yin yoga, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, meditation and pranayama. Classes are 1.5 hours long and are limited to 9 students per session. All classes start right on the hour. Please make sure to arrive a bit early and allow yourself time to settle in. Classes are offered by session, with drop-ins available if space permits.
