Gentle Hatha yoga classes are usually offered in my Stirling studio on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All classes are appropriate for those interested in a gentle approach to yoga..... I teach a fairly slow, meditative style, with strong focus on personal attention to the wisdom of your own body. All poses are taught with cues and awareness of breath. The breath informs the movement of the body at all times. Morning classes are geared to older adults, or anyone interested in this mindful style of yoga. I tend not to instruct poses that may not be easily accessible to older adults, (Pigeon, Shoulderstand etc.) These poses may show up in evening classes, and other challenging poses are taught on an individual basis only. Any class may contain elements of yin, restorative, yoga nidra, meditation and pranayama. Classes are currently limited to 5 students, with mat positions placed on the floor to keep everyone distanced. All classes start on time. Please make sure to arrive a bit early and allow yourself time to settle in. Classes are offered by session only.
